Before we get into the blog, we have a very exciting announcement: Sails Real Estate has been awarded Agency of the Year for Merimbula and Tura Beach by RateMyAgent. Pambula/ Merimbula Golf Club
The Pambula/ Merimbula Golf Club is famous for its lush greens and resident kangaroos and even have kangaroo tours, great for the family at Easter. The Glasshouse Restaurant has sweeping, picturesque views and offer a seasonal menu of local produce with a daily specials board for their lunch and dinner service, 12.00-2pm and 5.30-8.30pm daily. Visiting golfers are welcome to join in comps or play social rounds 7 days a week on the 27 hole course; bookings, clubs and cart hire at the Pro Shop. The Club has full TAB and Keno facilities, a Gaming Room and Sports Gaming Lounge where you can relax and watch all the sports on the big screen. More info.
The recently renovated Merimbula RSL Club offers free entertainment, with Lemvis performing on Easter Friday at 8pm, a mix of Elvis and Johny Cash nostalgic numbers. Followed by McGrath on Saturday 31st March at 7.30pm. Sports lovers will enjoy the full TAB and Keno facilities in the Ross Jones Sports Bar with a snooker room next door.
The Coral Sea Restaurant with its a la carte dinner menu is great for family dining while taking in stunning views of Merimbula Lake and the ocean. The menu is a sensational mix of fresh seasonal food, local fresh seafood, tantalising char-grill steaks and delicious oysters. $12 lunches include a la carte or Chinese/Thai dishes. Club Sapphire (Merimbula-Imlay Bowling club) has several bars and lounges, the Pacific Bistro and Rockpool Café dining areas, both open daily for dinner and lunch service and The Shack outdoor kiosk Friday and Saturday evenings. Check out the menu options.They feature an ongoing line up of entertainment in the Auditorium and live music on the grand piano in the lounge. Visitors are welcome to bowls roll ups at 10am Friday and Sunday (casual dress) and beginner’s ‘Come & Try’ bowling at 11am on Sunday.
Fairy Rose will be entertaining the kids over Easter, appearing from 5pm to 7pm Easter Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Coming soon is Flickerfest, the 27th international short film festival, on 13th & 14th April. TAB facilities, Keno and an indoor/outdoor sports bar provides entertainment for sports lovers.
